This panné-velvet gown is a stylish showpiece, much like the design that inspired it. The original – a panné-velvet, lamé-lined train from the Royal Archive – was worn for presentation at court in 1927. While our modern interpretation may not grace such regal surroundings, it commands the spotlight nonetheless. This style is cut on the bias to create the opulent, floor-grazing drape. Embellished cross-straps finish between the shoulder blades, with beaded tassels trailing to the waist.
Model is 173cm/5'8 and is wearing a size UK 8.
